Cookies and advertising
We use cookies to remember your preferences and measure traffic. We may use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info or, in Canada, youradchoices.ca. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block them, some features may not work properly.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect information such as pages visited and time on site. We do not use analytics to identify you personally.
Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, email, analytics, advertising), when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. Some providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, then delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@torontogtanews.com. Quebec residents may also request information about automated decisions and data portability under Law 25. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

This website is intended for a general adult audience and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
